Asthma

I have a asthma and have been hospitalized several times in the last 12 months. I have made some work based on my experiences and attempted to portray my feelings about my illness. I lose my identity and dignity, wearing a hospital gown and using a breathing mask takes my identity and replaces it with a ill, looking person.

I have photographed myself in a bath full of water. Medically speaking, my lungs are drowning within my body, from my illness, therefore I have tried to represent this by the sitting in the water.
